Pygmy Corydoras in my Aquascape

I bought Pygmy Corydoras! This little fella is cute and a prefect type for Aquascape because of their small size. They size only at 0.75 inches (2.1cm) but some also said they can be the size of 1.2 inches (3cm) so they are perfectly fine with the Shrimps (Except for the baby one, so you better heay plant the place). pH range from 6.0 to 8.0pH and temperature from 22 - 26°C. It's easy to maintain and good additional fish!

Bad news, good news. Betta Fish

Bad News: My old Betta that I put it in with Community fish tank died because he got bully by Red Scat and Rainbowfish. Really, really depressing.

On the Other hand

Good news: Bought new Betta Fish and and this time, in his own Aquarium. Happy for me cause I found the best one, hapy for the fish cause he is now in it's own Aquarium.

If you can't, don't.

Why do I say this? Is there a reason why I write the theme like this? Is it  really important to people to read what I'm gonna write about? For you some people, yes it might waste your times. But for us Aquarium Hobbies, it's an important matters to us.
Red Eye Red Tail Puffer Fish. Cute little bugger. Having them for 2 years.
I was watching some YouTube video when suddenly, one of the YouTube video show that the youtubers (The one who filming and do the talk and the uploading) rejecting some costumer to buy a fish from his store. Now, in term of the business, this is a bad choice. Why? For them, costumers are the king from their Point of View, and they willing to give some fish or valuable to them without thinking what the consequences are. But in the point of view of fish lovers and the clerk store are loving their fish, this is acceptable and of course I will support them if they don't wanna sell their fish to them. The reasons? The costumers do not intended to care the fish nor loving them.

Hoplo Catfish, one of my oldest catfish I ever had. 3 years and counting.
One point that I need to say in here. Fish are not a thing, you don't own them, you not their master, you are their caretaker. Owning means you own thing that not living like a phone, a laptop, a figure, and other thing that usually we used. Master means you own them and expect a return as a favors. If you remember the Dolphins who been used as a circus entertainment, that's what master definition means. You are not one of them. What the fish need is a caretaker, and that's what we are. The same as a dog, the same as a cat, the same as a birds.

Dwarf Rainbowfish
Why am I'm saying this? Some people do really think that fish doesn't have feeling even though they are alive, they think taking care the fish is easy as flipping your egg from your pans, and it's only a fish. They are wrong. Like I said, they are living things, they can breathe and move like us, and they of course have some feeling on them. They can be stress, they can be happy, they can be sulky, all of it can be seen through their body, their movements, and their colors. And also, who doesn't like to see fish who so energetic they always swim a lot. It's a stress reliever if you see them swimming happily. So if you not taking care of them, for what then?
Beta Fish Dragon Scale. Lovely fella.
Fish is magnificent living things. From their behaviors, their colors, their looks, even my aunt fascinate by Rasbora Galaxy as how tiny they are compare to the other fish. People usually want this fish and taking care of them are the most top priority for all for their health and their happy face. Be it they are saltwater fish or freshwater fish. Because if you don't taking care of them, they may die fast or got sick easily. So people, please do not buy the fish if you don't wanna care for them. If you can''t, don't.

Changing the water

Changing the water is a must for many Aquarium Hobbyist. The reason is to change the water on the Aquarium that consist of Amonia, Nitrate, and some "Bad" Bacteria with the new fresh water that consist of nothing. I didn't use the tap water, I'm using the water straight from the ground. However, because it's straight from the ground, the water is kinda murky and brown-color. Luckily my mom install some filter to do the Job which after that, it stored in the water tank. So I don't have any problem with that. While mostly people just changing the water only by using some water that have been stay for weeks or a day because of the tap water or someone like me, I usually add something to the Aquarium. They are Salt Aquarium and Bio-Eco-Water powder. How they work, you can see them all in theis video. Enjoy :-D

Jatinegara Fish market (Video)

Jatinegara, an animal market, a fish market, a bird market. Everything you want, you can get in here, either legal or illegal. But for now, we gonna give you a video about Jatinegara Fish Market in the morning exactly at 3 AM. Please enjoy the video :3

How it's started . . .

Hello ladies and gentlemen. My name is Dimas Dwiputranto and I'm a Otaku, Gamers, but also a Aquarium Hobbyist. It maybe a little strange that Otaku myself really like Aquarium fish, but no, it's the truth. Not all Otaku are Otakuish. They do often have other hobbies than anime, and I'm the other one. So, why this Otaku got a hobbyist as Aquarium lovers? Here's the stories how it began.

My Lovely Aquarium
So the day I began to become Aquarium Hobbyist is when I went to visit my Friend Bimo who at the time before I move out, are my Neighbor and my Childhood friend. I always visit his house either to play or to throw him upside down. And then, when I get in the house, there I saw. 4 stack Aquarium, with plants and the fish on it. I was on awe to see that and I really want to have on of it, thus, it began, my journey to the unknown of the Aquarium Hobbyist.

Thus, my journey is begin
My first Aquarium is a box-like Aquarium that I bought at Ace Hardware. It have nice filter system and I just have to assemble it. And my first fish? Is Angelfish and Neon Cardinal which after a few month earlier, I learn that Angelfish are not friendly with Neon Cardinal. The second Aquarium is a 30cm long Aquarium (You can see at the pic above). It's more bigger than my first Aquarium and also my first attempt on Aquascape which end as a failure. I was kinda mad at my failure and I threw all the plants and do the fish only, which is also became a disastrous. I also make the old Aquarium to become Shrimp only, but the Algae strike make my shrimp all die. But I determined to be able make a decent Aquarium that me and my family can enjoy it together. Thus, my Mom bought me a 150cm Aquarium, a gigan Aquarium.

The Gigan Aquarium!
At that time, my Mom said to me to decorate it as green as possible and I do it until all the Aquarium are flourish with greens! But at that time, I forgot to add the lamp and my Mom believe that the sun would eventually reach the Aquarium even it was in the middle of the rooms. We were so much wrong. All the plants are withering, they become unhealthy, and I became very depressed. I don't know what I have to do with it. At that time, I was rage, angry, and almost smash the Aquarium. Until, the Predator fish came into my life.

My first Predator Fish, Florida Gar
I once saw this fish when I saw them at LFS near Pondok Indah Mall which already shit down. The staff said it's a Gar and it capable to breath without an airstone and it's carnivore. At first, I was curious at them so bought 2 of them. As I heard they are carnivorous, I hate to get them something to eat. Luckly, at the LFS, they sell feeder fish. So I give them that and they are happily eat it. I was astonish by it. Whats more, it doesn't need any plants in there cause naturally, there's no plants on their environment so I was so happy about it. However, I have to change the water 50% and at that time, the hose is at my mom garden and I kinda lazy to take it so I do it with bucket which it's damn tired. Eventually, I don't have any money to buy their foods and I have to sold them. But, predator fish really awesome and that's when I met Puffers.

The Red Tail Red Eye Puffer
Puffers are cute little fella, of big fella since I have Red Tail Red Eye Puffers and Fahaka Puffers. They were curious little fella who always get near to me whenever I see them in the Aquarium. My first Puffers were GSP. This is common puffers they all LFS always sell. And then, I bought Samurai Puffers and the Milk Spotted Puffers. The GSP, Samurai Puffers, and MSP die for some reason which I still dumbfounded, while the other like Red Eye and Fahaka still alive to this day. Although, this is the 4th Fahaka I try to nurture them from the day when they are still small. It give me a very pleasure feeling that I successfully grow him up! And for they Red Eye, I once have 4 of them but because of the lack of the Aquarium space, they're are only 2 of them now and both of them are female. I kinda regret why I didn't change the Aquarium back then. But past is past and I have to move forward from it. And now, in the presents. I found the L270 Plecos.

L270 Pleco. A new addition to Fish tanks, and new love.
How I become fall in love with Plecos? That will be another tale to be told. And so, that's my history of me became Aquarium Hobbyist. In this blog, I will rant for once a week but sometime, I will upload some videos from my youtube channel for you guys to check them out. Here's the link to my channel:
